INSURANCE INFORMATION
A Security Bond is payable on ALL RENTALS at the time of collection of the vehicle and is equal to the insurance excess level chosen. See below for options available.
Rental charge includes a Standard Insurance Liability of $6,000 ($7500 as from 1 April 2010).
Security Bond Payable with Standard Insurance is $6,000 ($7500 as from 1 April 2010).
The Standard Liability can be reduced by purchasing one of the following Excess Reduction Options:
Excess Reduction Option 1 - A Liability of $2,000 applies. You can purchase this Option by paying an additional $26 per day.
Security Bond Payable with this option is $2,000.
Excess Reduction Option 2 - A Liability of $450 applies. You can purchase this Option by paying an additional $45 per day.
Security Bond Payable with this option is $450.
Please note: Higher excess levels will apply to drivers aged between 21 and 25 years. If any driver is under 25 years of age, the Excess Liability fee and the Security Bond both increase by $1,000. Excess Reduction Option 2 is not available for drivers under 25 years of age.
