What’s on in Brisbane in July?

Splendour in the Grass 2011
Not exactly in Brisbane but only about an hours drive north, Woodfordia is the location of the 2011 Splendour in the Grass event. Held over the weekend of Friday 29 July to Sunday 31 July and featuring a huge lineup of artists and headlining act Kayne West. Campervans and motorhomes are heavily booked for this event with many being sold out already, especially from Brisbane. Some are still available out of Sydney for those that live there and are happy to drive up and back. Tickets are on sale from the Splendour in the Grass website and camping tickets are also available.

Cirque de Soleil - Saltimbanco
Cirque de Soleil tours Australia again with Saltimbanco and will be in Brisbane at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre from 8 July to 17 July. If you haven’t been to one of these extravaganzas before now is a great time to do so if you are travelling through the Brisbane area in July.
